Big Boy Bloater & His Southside Stompers are playing late 1940's, early 1950's rhythm & blues in a Louis Jordan meets Louis Prima style and they love this music. They play gigs to packed houses all over the UK and Europe, providing outstanding entertainment to audiences who are, for the most part, far too young to have had any first-hand experience of the 1950s. They go to see the band because they know that they are guaranteed to have a great night out.

This long awaited album contains 15 tracks of no-nonsense good-time rhythm & blues. A great mixture of cover versions with half a dozen of the band's own numbers thrown in.
