No one can ever say that Bonafide frontman, Pontus Snibb, is laid back. If he's not bouncing about Europe heading up Bonafide, or skin thumping with Jason & the Scorchers, we now see he's managed to set time aside to write and soon record the third record together with his trio Wreck of Blues.

Pontus's take on it: »I've been into the whole blues vibe since I was a kid, and if I'm honest, it will probably be that sort of riff that will be getting played when I stop doing what I’m doing. When I finally got around to doing this, the tracks were the easy bit as I've had most of them in storage some time, but as you know, I never stop creating. The musicianship was essential, and after doing over 2000 shows with Håkan Nyberg (a.k.a DAD) I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather have part of my rhythm section. He's taken care of the skins, and the low-end rumble comes from my bass soul mate, Kalle Johansson.«

Bonafide mainman Pontus Snibb's new bluesy solo release is fittingly named "Too Late To Die Young". Pontus himself comments: "I've been playing the blues for over 20 years & now with my dad in the band, and I have to say it's been a great ride. 3 years ago we went trio and started 'Pontus Snibb's Wreck Of Blues' and recorded my first real blues album under that very name".

Now it's time for the next bluesy step with a brand new album - "Too Late To Die Young". With 10 new original songs plus a very special cover of the Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac classic "Jumping At Shadows", the band is ready to keep rolling down those dirt roads again. Like the previous album, this one spreads from Texas style blues to the British sound of Cream & Free. Mostly live recorded in Lemon Recording studio for that true bluesy sound and feel.

Pontus Snibb is a Swede that excels at American Blues. Snibb plays guitar and sings as a solo effort, but for this one, he’s brought a band to take the music one step further. Hakan Nyberg joins Snibb on Drums with Micke Nilsson on bass. The band sounds (and looks) like they’re channeling the best of ’70s Rock. Their latest album, Wreck of Blues is funky, gritty and danceable.
