She is also a member of the Washington Blues society and a full time physician by day. Kathy is backed by an accomplished and versatile band that mixes classic and contemporary arrangements to create a full range repertoire from cool jazz to rockin’ the house blues and R&B.
Hettel Street Blues has performed at regional events such as The Northwest Folklife Festival, Renton River Days, Edmonds Arts Festival, The Bite of Seattle, The Taste of Tacoma, The Marysville and Everett concerts in the parks series and The Renton Family Fourth on Lake Washington. HSB is also a regular performer at local venues a favorite for private parties, weddings and Corporate events with diverse groups. Hettel Street can play to audiences of all ages.
