Bruno "Bluesman" Felix, was born in the city of Sao Sebastiao do Paraiso, Minas Gerais, on March 9, 1983. In 1996 he began to learn the first chords on the guitar and within months got his first guitar, because he already decided to take forward the dream of attending a rock band. After going through several rock bands and various aspects of style, was "caught by blues" while listening to an Stevie Ray Vaughan's album in mid-2000. From that moment on, arises a definitive passion called Stratocaster. From there, he started to study the genre with tenacity and know its roots, being strongly influenced by the music of Albert King, BB King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy and Robert Johnson. The psychedelia of Hendrix and Clapton's fluidity also were and still are a matter of hours and hours dedicated to the guitar.
In 2006, Bruno definitively closes the activities related to other musical genres and plunges body and soul in the blues, founding with friends the first blues band of his city. In mid-2007 began his authoral work, when he wrote "Leave me alone", "Thursday in blues" and Nothing but the Blues ", songs that were eventually shelved with the end of the band he attended.
Much has happened in the past 6 years: some bands, other guitars, marriage in 2009 and other compositions that guided the bluesman toward his first album. "Bruno Felix & the Voodoo Kings" is the current working musician who just released in January 2014 his first album, titled "Nothing but the blues."
