Fire and Whistle Theory are a Brisbane based 5 piece band described as "new wave blues/rock with a little swing"! The band are made up of 4 separate song writers with a variety of tastes and inspirations. These guys seem to have no boundaries or limitations when it come to writing styles or genre's, which makes for a hell of an interesting set!
Our latest Ep ‘TAKE ME ALIVE’ is out now! We took a live approach to this record and it captures a raw and genuine sound with elements of spontaneity! We decided to record some old crowd faves and some new tracks with the addition of our newest single "WOMAN". Big thanks to Steve Robin for having us record at your incredible Barn Studio and for sharing his knowledge and ideas with us throughout the production!
