Willie J (but you can call him Bill) and J Parker (and you can call him Jene) are from Kansas City and have a love of all things rock and blues. Jene plays lead guitar with a dramatic fingerpicking style ...... kind of a mix of Buddy Guy, Robert Cray and Mark Knopfler. Bill's harmonica playing focuses on a smooth, bluesy tone and cites his main influences from growing up in the Chicago area as Corky Siegel and Big Walter Horton. Bill and Jene are also singers and songwriters and believe that good and powerful original songs will drive the future of the Willie J Parker Band.
