The members of Jimmy & The Sleepers include Jimmy Guiboche (Guitar/Background Vocals), Alex Varughese (Lead Vocals), David "Crawdad" Cantera (Harmonica/Background Vocals), Chris Brezicki (Bass/Background Vocals), and Grant Stovel (Drums). Together, Jimmy & The Sleepers bring an exceptional huge amount of talent to the table, which each member having worked with numerous greats from the Blues scene, including Pinetop Perkins, Rick Holmstrom, Eddie Shaw, EG Kight, Texas Johnny Brown, Billy Flynn, Teeny Tucker, Sue Foley, Brent Parkin, Big Dave McLean, Lazy Lester, Billy Boy Arnold, Little Mike (Tornadoes), Larry Garner, Big Jack Johnson and Super Chikan, just to name a few.

I am not sure why they call themselves Jimmy & The Sleepers, as the music they play does anything but put you to sleep, so I am guessing it is more in the context that it is used when referring to a sleeper movie, "a work that obtains unexpected recognition or success", because after listening to "C'est La Vie", I am certain that Jimmy & The Sleepers deserve all the recognition and success they can garner.

"C'est La Vie" was a pretty darn good introduction, for me, to a pretty darn good Canadian Blues band. ~ John Vermilyea
