The Filippo Barontini Blues Band is a group of very expert musicians who have developed a warm "vintage" sound typically blues and soul with strong references to the African-American styles developed in the States in the twenty years after 1940. Filippo Barontini, singer and guitarist as well as Tuscan bluesman from long course, with his sparkling band he will bring a warm homage to the music of Mississippi and Chicago, expertly mixing it with swing and soul, for very high energy concerts. Filippo has been playing blues for 20 years and took part in the 2006 edition of Pistoia Blues, opening Bob Dylan's historic concert. He played with Sax Gordon, James Thompson, Andy J. Forest, Nick Becattini, Beverly Lewis, Willie Murphy, Washboard Chaz, Peaches Staten, Giorgio Rosciglione, Gianluca Baroncelli, Chris Pacini, Leo Boni, Chicago Blue Revue… 5 unreleased songs and 5 classics revisited
