The After Hours Blues Band is a blues rock band based in Preston, NW England. The band has been around since the late nineties and has an established following in the area that appreciate electric blues, blues/rock materiel.
The band members are; Doug Long, bass and backing vocals, Lee Wharton, guitar and lead vocal, Ann Batty, drums. The band play a collection of their own original songs, reworked versions of blues classics, plus a few covers of more ‘popular’ songs from artists likes Jimi H and SRV. They have appeared at both the Burnley R&B and Colne Great British blues festival, on both the main stage and road house venues. They have appeared on BBC local radio on several occasions.
