From Devon in the UK, singer and harmonica player Ian Briggs, accompanied by his indispensable Supervampers, brings us a breath of fresh air with a solid thirteen excellent and well-crafted blues tracks, some in a classic style and others combined with jazz elements. Briggs possesses a refined and precise harmonica technique, which in itself makes this album very appealing. It must be said that Briggs is an expert on the English music scene, having spent over fifteen years touring clubs and festivals, always involved in different projects related to the world of blues, whether with his band or lending his harmonica to other English or American musicians. A very mature album, where Ian Briggs demonstrates his abilities as a musician and composer. /La Hora Del Blues
