Akatones is a jazz, swing, manouche, country and blues band with a lively and elegant sound.
The band is made up of three elements, vocals and banjo, manouche guitar and double bass. Upon request, the Akatones collaborate with other professional musicians, thus becoming a quintet or sextet assisted by a drum kit, a charango or a sax to the rhythm of swing, country and rock'n roll.
The repertoire ranges from the swing classics of the 30s, 40s and 50s, Django Reinhardt, George Gershwin, Ray Charles, etc., up to the Beatles, all made more captivating by the characteristic and original retro sound that the band offers thanks to the passion, experience and professionalism of the musicians.
