Tres Pistoleros e Doña Kay is a blues rock band from Turku, Finland, that has a long history of musicians. The band consists of Pasi Oksanen (drums), Jarno Mäkinen (bass) and Sami Tammioja (guitar and vocals). Katri "Doña Kay" Heinonen is the lead singer. The band began its activities as a trio during the corona lockdown, and in the fall of 2023 they began looking for a new singer and ended up with Katri.
The new line-up went straight into the studio to record the first songs for the album to be released in spring 2025. During the recording sessions, they also had time to play gigs and the feedback has been positive throughout. The performances, which consist of their own and carefully selected borrowed songs, have been well received.
