Little Rodger and the Cheap Thrills is fronted by veteran blues singer and harp player Little Rodger Crowder, who wows audiences with his unique and powerful approach to many blues styles including West Coast Swing, Chicago and Mississippi Delta Blues. Under Lil Rodger’s leadership the band has performed hundreds of live shows entertaining thousands of people. The band has performed in venues all over the Eastern United States and has shared the stage with many of the greatest artists in the blues genre. Little Rodger and the Cheap Thrills were finalists in the International Blues Challenge (2008) and performed at the competition in the beautiful Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee, finishing in the top ten of 75 national finalists.

Whether it is listening to their dynamic cover songs, which are uniquely transformed and made into their own, or their original songs written from the heart, fans always enjoy the bands high energy, passionate, soulful blues. The band's sole purpose is to "entertain and love the people".

After spending six busy years touring the South and recording 3 CDs, Kevin Selfe left the band Fat Daddy and joined forces with fellow Virginia bluesman Rodger Crowder, forming Little Rodger & The Cheap Thrills in 2003 (who incidentally was also a finalist at the IBC in 2008). Since then, and with some changes of the band members, Little Rodger & The Cheap Thrills have performed hundreds of live shows entertaining thousands of people.

The band has enjoyed performing in many venues and has had the privilege of sharing performance bills with some of the greatest artists in blues. Whether it is listening to their dynamic cover songs, which are uniquely transformed and made into their own, or their original songs written from the heart, fans always enjoy the bands high energy, passionate, soulful blues.
