Songwriter, guitarist and producer with a very distinctive style of “rootsy blues” who often combines rock, country and Celtic influences into the powerful mix. An eclectic choice of instrumentation such as lap steel guitars, didjireedoos, 12 string guitars can be heard over his 3 studio albums (2004, 2009, 2012) and a double live album and concert dvd with the 13 piece “Roots Orchestra”(2010).
With extensive touring live highlights are many including performing at Glastonbury in 2009, guesting and performing with Moya Brennan (Clannad) and Liam Ó MaonlaÍ (Hot House Flowers) and Ciaran Gribben (INXS) at the Spirit Voices Show (Special Commission to Earagail Arts Festival 2010), a string of headline slots at Blues and Arts festivals throughout Ireland and Europe and In 2009 he was joined onstage by guitarist Henry McCullough (Joe Cocker Grease Band, Wings, Jesus Christ Superstar) for an unforgetable performance of leadbellys ‘Western Plain’.
