Blackmore and Blackmore is the stage name use by Mike Blackmore when performing using live looping. The only instruments used are an acoustic guitar and a djembe drum but the resulting mix is of a full acoustic group. Song styles range from acoustic blues to blues rock to eclectic. Mike Blackmore has been performing in southern Ontario, Canada, for the past twenty five years, leading several groups some up to six members. In the last two years he has latched on to the live looping phenomenon and has been busy performing at events, festivals and music venues.
