Hank Shreve began playing harmonica at the age of 8 and has established himself as a major harmonica talent on the blues scene in the Pacific Northwest. Between the age of 8 - 18, he became proficient on other instruments such as Vocals, Drums, Keyboards, Guitar, Dobro and Lap-Steel.

He received the Northwest Harmonica Championship in 2006, and the CBA's ''Muddy Award'' for Best Harmonica in both 2009 and 2013. Hank was a featured artist in the Harmonica Blow-off at the 2009 Waterfront Blues Festival along with Rick Estrin and Randy Chortkoff. He also was a featured harmonica player at Harpdog Brown's 'International Harmonica Showcase' in White Rock, Canada.

In addition to many music luminaries, he has shared the stage with delta-blues legend Honeyboy Edwards, Smash Mouth, Merle Haggard, Norton Buffalo, Gregg Rolie, Marcia Ball, Sista Monica Parker, Amy Clawson & Pam Tillis, Terry Robb, Magic Dick, Lee Oskar, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Karen Lovely, Deanna Bogart, Roger Fisher (from Heart), Curtis Salgado, DK Stewart, Lloyd Jones, Paul deLay and many other well-known national and international acts.

Hank and his band, (The Hank Shreve Band) have performed at numerous notable venues/events such as The Waterfront Blues Festival, Big Sky Blues Festival, Fourth At The Fort Festival, Seven Feathers Casino, Three Rivers Casino, Willamette Blues/Brews Festival, Eugene Celebration, Oregon State Fair, Highway 99 Blues Club (Seattle), Jazzbones (Tacoma), Sasquatch Brewfest (Eugene), just to name a few! The Hank Shreve Band has won the CBA's Muddy Award for Best New Act 2012, and Best Regional Act 2013, 2014, & 2016.

Apart from being one of Eugene, Oregon's respected and well-known musicians, Hank teaches music with a curriculum that includes Harmonica, Drums, Guitar, Lap-Steel and Piano. He is an official Artist-In-Residency at Music Masters in South Eugene where he teaches.

A seven time Muddy Award winner, Hank started playing the harmonica at the age of eight and has established himself as major harmonica talent on the blues scene in the Pacific Northwest. Hank was a featured artist in the Waterfront Blues Harmonica Blow-off in 2009 along with Rick Estrin and Randy Chortkoff and again in 2013 at Bill Rhoades' Harmonica Blow Off. In addition to many music luminaries, Hank has shared the stage with Honeyboy Edwards, Merle Haggard, Norton Buffalo, Paul DeLay, SistaMonica, Greg Rolie, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Curtis Salgado, Coco Montoya, and many others.

The Hank Shreve Blues Showcase, in its fourth year, continues in many forms and locations, where Hank fronts an all-star lineup with Kenny Luker on guitar, Bill Shreve on bass, and GT Albright on drums. Monthly Hank invites guests such as Karen Lovely, DK Stewart, Terry Robb, Bob Ruggerio, Lisa Mann, Henry Cooper, LaRhonda Steele, and Curtis Salgado, among others, to share the stage.
