Stringbean, aka Ken Sorensen, sings, plays harmonica and guitar. He is surrounded by great musicians: Sonny Kenn, lead guitar, is considered by many to be the best guitarist that the Jersey Shore Music scene has ever produced. His stellar playing really shines on their new CD release. The rhythm section is comprised of Dave Meyers on bass and drummer Vic Bayers, a pair with a telepathic bond derived from years of playing together. Neil Thomas is a brilliant piano, organ and accordion player who has played with Stringbean longer than anyone. Together this group of friends has developed into a powerhouse of extraordinary Blues grooves and musical energy guaranteed to make you swing your hips and put a very large smile on your face.
Recorded at Retromedia Studios, Red Bank, New Jersey.
Ken Sorensen (vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica); Sonny Kenn (electric guitar); Neil Thomas (accordion, piano); Dave Meyers, Leigh Fox (bass guitar).

Stringbean & The Stalkers - 2 albums: Live @ Ragin' Cajun / Ride Of Your Life
Stringbean and the Stalkers are not just a Blues Band, they are an innovative Blues Collective. Ken Sorensen aka Stringbean on vocals, harp and guitar, Jersey Shore legend Sonny Kenn on lead guitar, David Meyers on bass, Vic Bayers on drums and Neil Thomas on accordian, piano and organ are the nucleus of an amazing volatile band.
Their blues is blended with country, jazz, and zydeco. Stringbean Sorenson's voice is that of a country or bluesgrass tenor. The band plays a mixture of Chicago and Piedmont styled Blues and sometimes they sound like the early Grateful Dead with Rod McKernan (PigPen). This album was recorded Live @ The Rajin' Cajun in Belmar, where they play Sunday nights, it has become home. The band consists of Ken Stringbean Sorenson, vocals, guitar, harmonica; Sonny Kenn, lead guitar; Dave Meyers, bass; and Vic Bayers, drums.
The rhythm section of Dave Meyers and Vic Bayers lay the foundation that lets Sonny Kenn and Stringbean solo, and do they ever. Stringbean's harmonica dances throughout the recording while Sonny Kenn's tasteful guitar licks complete the sound. The band derives some of its inspiration from the Grateful Dead and the overall results will satisfy the appetite of any Blues fanatic or deadhead.
