L.C. Robinson was born and raised in East Texas, but relocated to California. This unique and dynamic bluesman played guitar and fiddle, but he was famous for his incredible steel guitar style. On one session he is backed by the Muddy Waters Band (tracks 1-6), another session by his trio (tracks 7-13). This reissue also includes a radio broadcast (tracks 14-19) with his brother Reverend A.C. Robinson on vocals and harmonica, while L.C. plays the fiddle.
