The repertoire mainly includes original works by ZU (songwriter), but also some French adaptations of American blues (Blind Boy Fuller, T-Bone Walker, Freddie King).
In addition to being French-speaking, the particularity of this duo lies in the presence of an accordion, an instrument very rarely represented in the blues. Only zydeco, a musical genre from Louisiana whose favorite instrument is the accordion, includes the blues among other musical influences.
The duo's influences range from Benoît Blue Boy to Bill Deraime for French blues, to Clifton Chenier and Lynn August for zydeco, and Alain Bashung (Boris Bergman or Jean Fauque) for lyrics.
