I am back with another review. This time, Bongo Boy has sent me a prerelease copy of their upcoming compilation album Backroom Blues Volume Three. It is always a good day when I get a new album from Bongo Boy. If you are not familiar with their work, you should be. Bongo Boy has carved out a niche in the compilation scene. Personally, I like what they are doing. They take relatively unknown artists who play the same type of music and stick some of their best tracks on an album. I say relatively unknown because this is not like the old K-Tel albums that were only available on television. The stuff on the Bongo Boy albums is fresh and compelling. Volume three of the Backroom Blues series is no exception. ~The Grouch
