Nalle, aka Roland Lyhr Sørensen, was born in 1943 and started his musical career with the group Teddy Bears, who fetched his inspiration from Fats Domino, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis. Talle is a legend in Danish music. From songs like In the Midnight Hour, I can be big babes, Go'e Old Olsen, Amanda and It's a Wonderful Life (cd released in 2003), there's one red thread, the deepest and most sensitive soulstem on this side of the mississippi belt No-one, like Nalle, can deliver a live performance with so much feeling and intensity, and several concert goers and organizers have had to surrender to the warm and sympathetic appearance of Rock Nalle.

Now he is known for his outstanding interpretations of classic American roots and blues songs. Nalle comes with his own trio consisting of Ivan Sand and Henning Kaae. The trio has been touring throughout Denmark, England, Germany, France, Spain, Canada and the East, and it also became a requirement for them to record a record. Roland Lyhr Sørensen - Rock-Nalle, rock and soul-singer, began playing the guitar and singing in groups in 12-13 years. After his schooling he became an agricultural assistant and came to learn from Koppmann's Swine Butchery. As a learned slave, he signed a freighter and ended up in Australia, where he founded his English language. In 1962 he returned to Denmark and got work as a bowel cleaner. He broke through with his debut single "I'll Go Crazy" in 1964. The following year he recorded with Melvis & His Gentleman the single "In the midnight hour", which became his biggest hit in the 1960s. He left rock music in the summer of 1967 and resumed his work as a slaughter in Odense. Nalle started out in 1957 and in the sixities became Denmark's most famous rock and soul singer. After a personal setback in the late eighties and early nineties, Nalle made a remarkable comeback at the turn of the century. Lately Nalle has proved that he masters the acoustic roots-blues as well as rock 'n' roll and soul.

Texas blues man Omar Kent Dykes and his juicy, deep south three chord rough and tumble blues and trademark raw vocals has been a mainstay on the blues scene since the eighties. Magic Slim is probably the greatest living performer of the real electrified Mississippi to Chicago blues in the tradition of Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.
