These Blues In Me is a summary of Ronnie Jacobsen's creative work for the last 10 years. The project has received an honest and personal profile, where the artist offers music and texts based on his own life experiences. In genre, Ronnie Jacobsen is in the intersection of blues, soul and hip hop. His musical universe can be described as a blue organic which bridge spicy with soulful vowels, sparkling guitar games, dreamy soundscapes and suggestive rhythms. If you get the music in the seams, it reveals a complex embroidery of musical references. Here you can drag the lines back to everything from Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Little Walter, to Jimi Hendrix, Funkadelic and Wu Tang Clan.

These Blues In Me is a collaborative project between Ronnie Jacobsen and Abup Road Records, owned and operated by Abup - Department of Children and Young People's Mental Health at Sørlandets Sykehus. The project's goal is to raise awareness about the relationship between music and health. Research has long established that creative deployment, and not least music, can relieve important resources in humans while at the same time processing sorrow, pain, loss and loss. The project work has provided valuable experiences of the music's still soothing power, and is intended to be a source of creative inspiration for others as well.

Ronnie Jacobsen is one of Norway's most important torch carriers. These Blues In Me has become a personal and passionate album that embraces Ronnie Jacobsen's musical roots.
