Mark LaForme, singer, songwriter, and musician is one of Canada's best kept secrets. He was born November 6, 1954 and raised on the Mississauga's of the New Credit Indian Reserve. Mark grew up listening to the latest hits that were playing on the radio. At the age of eleven, he began playing the guitar and by fourteen, he learned to play the harmonica. Simultaneously, these two instruments create an astounding sound.

Today, when he isn't busy collecting and studying ancient Native American artifacts, with self discipline and his passion for music, Mark has written his own compositions and released five albums consisting of original pieces and his interpretations of songs in the true styles of Country, Classic Rock, R&B, and Rockabilly. Mark LaForme recreates the authentic, timeless quality of some of the greatest artist in history. Throughout the years, his dedication has lead him to signing with Columbia, R.C.A., and EMI Record labels. In 1998, '99, and 2011 Mark toured with the late, great Stompin' Tom Connors. Mark performed on Center Ice after the last NHL game and at Wayne Gretzky's inauguration into the Hockey Hall of Fame with Stompin' Tom as well. One of Tom's last requests was for Mark to sing I Am The Wind at his funeral and memorial. Mark LaForme honoured this request on March 12th and 13th of 2013. Mark has performed on stage with other great artists such as Colin James and Jeff Healey. He was a featured artist on Rez Bluz2 which was televised on APTN. In 2003, Mark was asked to play for the Canadian Armed Forces in Bosnia, which he accepted without hesitation. Mark's devotion to creating great music has earned him his rightful place in the hearts of music lovers across Canada and around the world.
