His collaborator in this effort was the legendary session man and producer Ben Keith. The working title of the project was" Mardi Gras in the Elevator"...Brought in to enhance the local flavor was a horn section led by the affable Milton Battiste. The end result - Wizard of Odds - will please you with it's good-humored melodious spunk-aciousness. Oh , by the way, "She Sleeps Under The Highway" is a tribute to both Red Sovine and the perils of eminent domain...First released in Germany under the Zensor label, it is now available for the first time in the good ole' U.S. of A.
