"Hard hitting foot stomping Americana meets dirty blues and rock - songs to get you moving and songs to get you crying in your beer - Bad Bob Bates has combined 4 and 6 string guitars, gravelly vocals, harmonica, drums and loops to create real magic." Songs about life and love. Blues, slide, Americana and alt country for the modern day. Think Alabama 3 meets Seasick Steve via John Lee Hooker to play hard hitting modern country rock blues and you'll be on the outskirts of BBB land.

Recorded and mixed/mastered over four days in October/September 2014, Bridge Street is a testament to Bad Bob Bates' song writing, musicianship and the production skills of Ally Lee from Mill Studios, Northumberland. This album needs to be played loud - even the ballads!

Bad Bob Bates - all vocals and all stringed instruments, percussion; Ronnie Semple - Harmonica on tracks 1, 2 and 9; Ally Lee - keyboards, programming, percussion; Andrew Milburn - Drums on tracks 4, 5 and 7 .
