Vanguard Visionaries compiles recycled tracks taken from Skip James's stint with the label in the mid-'60s. The ten tracks were originally available on the albums Today!, Devil Got My Woman and various compilation sets. Considering the lack of liner notes, and with the original discs being easily obtainable, there's no reason to purchase this generic compilation even at a midline price. ~Al Campbell
