The Sons of Blues recorded this album in Paris, France in 1985 while touring Europe with Buster Benton. In 1979, harmonica player Billy Branch set up the band with Lurrie Bell, and they took part in the series "Living Chicago Blues". Band members changed during the years and by 1985 Carl Weathersby from Jackson, MS played the guitar. Jackson was heavily influenced by Little Milton and Albert King. Billy Branch shared the vocals with Weathersby, bass player J.W. Williams and drummer Moses Rutues. Buster Benton sings and plays guitar on "In The Ghetto".
