West Coast blues at its best — never mind if they’re from Sweden, these guys have it down. Guitarist Thomas Hammarlund has an Alex-Schultz-meets-Junior-Watson sound, providing the perfect counterpoint for Anders Karlsson’s expressive vocals. The hard working quintet Blue Hammer have been active on the Scandinavian blues scene since 1995, and released their debut recording "First Gear" in 2000. The album "Alive And Well" is their second, and it's a showcase for what they do best - play and perform live in front of an enthusiastic audience.
