Als Blues- und Boogie-Pianist unter anderem bei der Spider Murphy Gang, als einer der versiertesten Organisten der Republik und als einer der besten Zydeco-Akkordeonisten und -Komponisten östlich des Mississippis ¿ der Münchner Ludwig Seuss spielt schon lange in der ersten Groove-Liga. Seiner Bewunderung für die berühmten, aber auch für die zu Unrecht vergessenen Meister ihres Fachs hat das keinen Abbruch getan. Seuss ist seit jeher ein Teamplayer und musicians musician, speziell bei seinem inzwischen 13. eigenen Album ¿Virginia Blues Connection¿ ist ihm nun der Bandgedanke wichtiger, als selbst im Mittelpunkt zu stehen. Zugleich erfüllt er sich den Traum, mit dem in München lebenden Tenorsaxophonisten Eddie Taylor und dem Holmes Brothers Schlagzeuger Popsy Dixon zwei Veteranen ins Rampenlicht zu holen, die im Musikbusiness schon alles erlebt haben.
