Like a Midwest summer storm blowing across the plains, the Back Porch Blues Band roars into town providing the best variety of original contemporary blues in the Heartland.
The band's influences range from Chicago to Texas to Funk to West Coast Swing and everything in between. Four seasoned individual musicians have come together to form a cohesive unit that is even greater than the sum of the parts. The Back Porch Blues Band puts forth an exciting new sound that has thrilled music lovers for more than a decade!
After invigorating the crowd at the 2012 Paxico Blues Festival, the Back Porch Blues Band took things to another level in 2013. In addition to their regular club dates throughout eastern Kansas and the Kansas City area, the festival season saw them rocking stages at the Spirit of Kansas Blues Festival in Topeka, Tunes & Tobacco Weekend in Weston, MO, the Coleman Hawkins Blues Festival in St. Joseph, MO and the Jammin' in JC Blues Festival in Junction City, KS.
The band is looking forward to new and exciting things in 2014 starting with the release of their first studio CD in January. Eleven original songs showcase both the musical talent and songwriting ability of the band. Pick up your copy of "One More Before You Go" at any of their shows!

Dude, is it too difficult to include album details in the folder of your postings like the rest [kamane, BB etc]? It would be appreciated!
Some nerve complaining on such a tiny matter in my opininion. No offense intended, just felt I had to comment. The album details are stated in the post and it's not that hard to copy it and paste it into a text document on your own. The ones posting are putting a lot of time and efforts in keeping this site alive, so why not show some gratitude instead? Sincerely, MrWalker

Easy there. That was a question i.e. "is it difficult to include...". I'm fully aware of the details and how easy it is to copy them. My problem is, I use a downloader which opens every album into a single folder. Matts posting becomes a single folder with ALL the songs from all his postings in it and has to be manually sorted. That's why I 'only asked if it's difficult' and included an 'appreciation' if it was possible!
Of course I appreciate all the work put in and I've thank them on many occasions in the chatbox [under another nickname].
MapleB, - I've posted many albums [under another nickname] in the chatbox, the last one being the complete Whiskey Blues Series under the Paradise label before the Taxim label was posted.
Truly sorry for any confusion or misunderstanding...
Sorry if I got you wrong Fish. And what I do with these zip files, is that i first create a folder with artist and album name and then move the zip file in there and unzip it. But that's me and it seems you're using some other system. Anyway, point is taken and enough said on the matter. Greetings, MrWalker
Thanks for the explanation Mr.Walker. I'm unaware of the procedure as I've never posted as an admin on a blog, just links, thus my ignorance.
I truly appreciate everyone who shares the Blues music here. It's an invaluable service to those who appreciate real music.
