The three siblings in Trampled Under Foot - Danielle Schnebelen, lead vocals and bass; guitarist and vocalist Nick Schnebelen, and singer/drummer Kris Schnebelen - are the children of blues musicians Bob & Lisa Schnebelen. The folks never made it big outside of their hometown of Kansas City, but their kids have been tearing up the scene since they started playing together. Regular gigs around their hometown started the buzz that intensified when they took first place at the Blues Foundations International Blues Challenge in 2008. Nick took home The Albert King Award for most promising guitarist that same year, which led to headlining shows at festivals all over the U.S. and Europe. Unlike a lot of young blues players, Trampled Under Foot stick pretty much to their roots here; they're a blues band, not a rock band playing blues. /AllMusic

Just to avoid confusion regarding the alleged selftitled album (which most likely doesn't exist, at least not by this particular band) I replaced the info originally given. The Trampled Under Foot discography at All Music Guide mentions a selftitled album (from 2006), but they most likely refer to an album by some heavy metal Group with the same name but different spelling. Please note that the info given in the text file included in the album folder is the old info, and that it mentions a selftitled album that is not by this band. Sorry about that.
