Claudio Gabis, pionero del rock Argentino, fundador del mítico MANAL y guitarrista exquisito, sigue su carrera como solista alternando sus tres hogares, como él mismo los llama: Argentina. España y EEUU. Éste, su primer álbum en vivo en su extensa trayectoria, nos introduce en una recorrida por su historia repleta de clásicos, (solo basta ver el listado de temas), para hacer de este disco, un imprescindible para los amantes de la guitarra y del blues.

Claudio Gabis (18.03.49) was guitarist of the first formation of the Grandparents of Nothingness and integrated Manal with Javier Martinez and Alejandro Medina , group in which he recorded seven albums.
He had formed his first group ("Bubblin Awe") in 1967, with whom he participated in the current happenings of the Di Tella Institute, epicenter of the avant-garde movement of the Sixties. He joined in 1971 at The Rock and Roll Heavy , with the support of those who managed to edit his first two solo albums.
After participating in the film "Rock until the sun goes down," he settled in Brazil (where he played with Ney Matogrosso) and later studied at the University of Berklee, United States. Back in Brazil he recorded with Hermeto Pascoal and Egberto Gismonti and integrate the fusion group Index. Even then he began his work as a teacher, forming much of the currently active guitarists carioca scene.
In 1984 he returned to Argentina, where he taught courses and seminars in various cultural centers, conservatories and universities. He made radio programs and collaborated in specialized music magazines.
In 1985 he formed the blues band "La Nave" with Oscar Spal (vocals and harmonica), Edgardo Fernandez (bass and vocals) and Daniel Fernández (drums). They recorded an album with the participation of Andres Calamaro , "Countdown".
During 1986-87 he composed the soundtracks of several films, plays and dance and participated in numerous recordings, including guest LP "How to Get Girls" by Charly Garcia .
In 1989 he settled in Madrid, where he continued his teaching career at the School of Creative Music, one of the most importants of modern music that exists in that country. He created the "Night Blues" led the group and Claudio Gabis Group, dedicated to jazz-fusion, which has performed in local clubs and the Mardel Jazz Festival in 1993.
In 1995 he released his solo album "Call" , a sort of tribute to Argentine rock, in which he updated classics as "Tomato Juice," "Rock of the lost woman," "No time for more," "Bad Conditions "and" distrust ". For this board he invited Leon Gieco , Horacio Fontova , Joaquin Sabina, Andrés Calamaro , Charly Garcia , Ricardo Soulé , Ricardo Mollo, Alejandro Medina and Pedro Guerra. The plaque was presented at the Roxy nightclub, along with Garcia and Medina . A second part was published in 1997, recorded material in the same period.
