Brian Knight, the influential vocalist, slide guitarist, harmonica player and founding member of The Rolling Stones was one of the most respected and important figures in British blues history. The album Brian Knight entitled Blue Eyed Slide, features Lawrence Scott on keys, Mickey Moody of Rainbow on lead guitar, Ray Bailey on bass, David Williamson on drums and Carmen Daye on background vocals. There are guest appearances on the album from Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), Charlie Watts (The Rolling Stones), Ian Stewart (the 6th Rolling Stone), Peter Thompson on sousaphone and Charlie Hart on bass.

Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones gave his approval of the project with an exclusive signature: "Good to hear the fuits of Brian's total artistic control on this album. The result is uninterfered - with back-to-the-roots blues. Brian is one of the greatest guitar specialists. The track with Charlie and Stu brought back memories. Brian was playing with the Stones boys when I was still in my first band, The Birds..."
