Knock-Out Greg & Blue Weather was a Swedish band that toured professionally for 8 years all over the world, USA, England and Russia among other countries. They also performed at a lot of blues festivals in Scandinavia and Europe like Notodden Bluesfest (Norway), Burnley Bluesfest (England), Stockholm Jazz & Bluesfest (Sweden) and Mönsterås Blues Fest (Sweden). Their style mixed retro jump blues with true Chicago sounds, a la Little Walter and Howling Wolf. Greg's harp playing certainly stands the test as he is firing away one solo after the other and the singing is distinct! This band was one of the hottest in Scandinavia and deserves a listen everywhere else. Even the cold Swedes can play the blues!!
