This is good rockin' blues in the Chicago tradition. Dave Weld has taken the experience he got with Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials and put together a tough, raw band that operates right on the edge. Although Dave is obviously deep into the blues tradition, he's not strapped to it. He i willing to take some musical changes and venture into the territory where his personal version of rock'n' roll meets Chicago blues. And on the songs where Dave and the band play with Lil' Ed, you can feel the love that Dave and Ed have for each other.
