Charlie Musselwhite (harmonica, vocals), Señor Renaldo Arvizu (saxophone, vocals), Steve Ehrmann (bass), Walter Shuffelsworth (drums, vocals), Rick Welter (guitar, vocals). Recorded live set at the Belly Up Tavern in Solano Beach, California from 1982.
Performing an average of 300 shows a year for more than two decades, the Dynatones were one of San Francisco's busiest R&B bands in the 1980s and '90s. Originally formed as the backup band for Chicago blues harmonica player/vocalist Charlie Musselwhite, the Dynatones eventually went on their own and continued to excite crowds with their high-energy performances. They represented the Miller Brewing Company, as part of their Miller Genuine Draft "Band Network," for seven years, and performed at the NFL Commissioner's "official" Super Bowl party in Miami. They accompanied soul vocalist Sir Mack Rice on his 1992 album, "Right Now," and recorded several albums on their own.
