Tia and the Patient Wolves are Chicago Blues followers. Tia is young, she's a french woman so that her blues has a very personal touch : a mix of lowdown rhythm and sensuality. She plays with her guitar at the tip of her fingers, which gives it a very particular attack associated with a satured sound. Tia has a very strong personality and already proves to have great experience. In 1999, when the famous "Chicago Blues Festival" made a stop in France, she met Larry Garner who offered her to come and "jam" with him in his tour an experience which was repeated in his 2000 and 2001 tours (around France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria). It simply was incredible! Tia could believe neither her eyes nor her ears! Being able to spend thous precious moments with such musicians sure was the best way to learn. And she did, thanks to the spontaneous sessions performed right at the end of the gigs, on the road, where you actually understand how it works and how tough this job is but also the great satisfactions one can get from such music. Encouraged by Larry Garner and many musicians, she formed her own band, Tia and the Patient Wolves, in 2002. Since then she has already given 500 gigs everywhere in France and in Switzerland and Poland - where she ranked 3rd (out of 12 candidates) in an international Blues contest. Tia is currently working on her first album and she already booked for several festivals.
