Dylan Bishop graduated in 2016 and he wanted to persue a career as a professional musician. He started playing guitar at age seven and his father gave him an AC/DC album and for a long time Bishop loved this music, until he heard an Elmore James tune on YouTube. Bishop began playing blues jam sessions and he credits Mike Morgan, Anson Funderburgh and Hash Brown for helping with his blues education. After graduating in 2016, Bishop and his bandmates Cadillac Johnson and Dirk Cordes travelled to Austin for the sessions. Nine of the album’s 13 tracks are Bishop originals. Jimmie Vaughan contacted producer Billy Horton and asked if he could participate. So Austin legend Jimmie Vaughan played on 2 tracks. The album got good reviews and Bishop got offers from festivals across the US. -- Dallas Observer.
