Can U Cook? has been Steve mixing up all of his much-loved ingredients to deliver a fresh new record that’s full of sunshine, as well as being a good ol' Seasick mix of boogie, blues, rock, americana and folk-music.
Produced and written by Seasick Steve, this will be Steve’s ninth studio album and was mostly recorded in a converted ice house on the dock in Key West, Florida. Steve’s longtime drummer Dan Magnusson (a.k.a. Crazy Dan) is of course featured on the record, along with some amazing playing contributions from guitarist Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars). Luther is now part of the touring band for the forthcoming tour dates.
