Thanks Bluestender for posting Jim Kahr. Love his music! Great blues!
@Bluestender: this is the same 2002 album on Inakustik INAK 9068 that was truly recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis. Not a 2018 album. Anyway, a great album as well.
@Elton.. as a matter of fact this release is slightly different from the 2002 release you are referring to (entitled "Nothin' To Lose"). Tracks 1-11 are the same, but tracks 12-13 are not included on the earlier one. Check this link and you'll see the difference: https://www.discogs.com/Jim-Kahr-Nothin-To-Lose/release/3306031
Thanks Red Rooster. If you read the review above only 11 tracks was recorded at Ardent Studios. Tracks 12-13 was not included on the original because was not recorded there. A new version of Broken Man (track 13) is on the Jim's Web page.
@Elton
In one thing we can agree. This album has 2 more tracks than the 2002 Inakustik album. So, it's a different album.
What you read above, it's not the album review but a artist bio. There, you can read "Eleven powerful original tracks surfaced from these sessions". This, in my opinion, means that they recorded more than 11 tracks, but only 11 were put in the Inakustik CD. With this, I'm not saying that the 2 extra tracks are from those sessions. The only thing I can say, is that this is a commercial release and was dated as a 2018 one.
OK OK Bluestender. I understand and agree. I know Jim Kahr. I have all his CDs signed, including an unplugged bootleg with Ulf Lenske in Mannheim, have a big poster signed on my wall and I am not sure if this is an official realese. But if the post has only front art, do you know what company published this album? Sorry for bothering you with my comments. All the best.
@Elton
You are not bothering me at all :)
