The Motel Kings have been together since 1991 and have played average 150 gigs a year all over the continent. This has not only gained them the reputation of being one of the hardest working R & B Bands on the circuit, who consistently produce a great live show of high energy music, but has also made them the favourites at all the major blues festivals. All three C.D. releases by the band ( Dagenham Blues, Hot To The Touch and All right All night ) have gained critical acclaim and continue to be played on national and local radio stations both here and abroad. This has also meant that the band have been asked to open up shows for many of the top American blues artists when playing in Europe.
