I have heard many versions of 'Come On In My Kitchen', but nothing quite matches the one on this album. The smooth, horn-like quality of Carlos Del Junco's harp is other-worldly! As a guitar/harmonica duo these two really shine on classics such as 'Big Road Blues', 'Future Blues' and 'Death Don't Have No Mercy'. This is one of my all-time favorite blues albums - highest recommendation!

Thom Roberts a.k.a. Champagne Charlie was a good friend and my main musical mentor back in the late 1970's in Toronto. This is the only recording of him that exists, and I full heartedly recommend it!
