Gregg Juke - a 20 year veteran of the music scene as a musician, performer, producer, arranger, recording artist, songwriter, educator, and music journalist - has had a long-standing dream: to have fun playing the Blues, Soul and Roots Rock with a group of high-caliber musicians that can handle challenging original material, as well as classic standards and covers presented in a new way. The Mighty No-Stars were formed with a core group of some of Western New York ’s finest “unknown” musicians, but the players in the No-Stars have all been at the “music game” a long time.

Gregg Juke & The Mighty No-Stars: Blues Power has already garnered attention and critical acclaim abroad. It has landed a spot on the coveted Real Blues Magazine Top-100 New CD’s list, was chosen as one of the Top-10 independent Blues recordings in the World at the 2008 International Blues Challenge, was voted the Best Self-Produced CD in the 2007 Memphis Bound competition, and has charted on the Roots Report International Blues Top-50 and New York State Roots Chart.
