Grit faction joins the blues, country and rock with a bit of regionalism. A band that plays the past to find the future. It may seem silly, but that's just a little whole mixture of influences, rhythms and names that describe the raw sound, fun and danceable Faction Grit.
The faction was born in 2009 in Niterói, composed by Jan Santoro (Voice / Resonator), Daniel Leon (Harmonica), Vinicius Camera (Low) and Renan Sedge (drums), with the simple intention of playing what they like and sing what want. With their first record, an EP with two self-titled exhausted pressings that introduced the band to the public in 2012, the quartet reached various parts of Brazil and accumulated awards at music festivals, always targeting the explosion of his shows. This musical catharsis of their presentations can be viewed on YouTube under the Faction Grit names in Niterói Municipal Theatre and Live at the Flying Circus - both emblematic by the foolishness of the show, the public, and sold out 80,000 outdated views.
