Scotch Hollow is an acoustic roots band that plays original music and covers in the style of country blues. It began when Mark met Carley while studying at Berklee College of Music. Mark's experience growing up in central Pennsylvania's appalachian mountains, paired with Carley's roots in the historic blues/jazz scene of Kansas City led to an interesting collaboration grounded in old-school delta blues and traditional finger pickin' country. After a short tour, they made their home-base in Nashville when Mark came down with a devastating case of severe tendonitis. After years of treatment, they relocated to Chicago to start the new chapter of Scotch Hollow which is now becoming a staple in the roots scene throughout the midwest and northeast.
