Deep Sea Diver is a competent, but not particularly inspiring live album recorded in 1989. Occasionally, Nappy Brown turns in a fiery performance -- particularly on "Things Have Changed" and the title track -- but just as often, his singing is workmanlike. There are enough good moments to make the album worthwhile for fans, but it is not an essential purchase. ~Thom Owens
