This CD captures the band's typical live performance; a display of versatility, top notch musicianship, and song writing prowess in a recording so well engineered it's like being right there at Ground Zero Blues Club, the world's number one blues venue!!

This well engineered live CD Captures a typical Clarksdale Blues Revue performance at the world's number one blues venue, Ground Zero Blues Club; located in the heart of Clarksdale Mississippi, the birthplace of the blues. The recording captures an entertaining display of versatility, top notch musicianship, and song writing prowess. The band begins and ends the show with a bang coming out with a rock blues reminiscent of an early Beatles song then dishes out one heavy hitting Delta blues song after another. The band then gives the crowd a chance to catch their breath with some smooth and groovy West Coast swing blues followed by some mesmerizing hill country blues. From there the band plays some typical Chicago blues, funk blues, and more delta blues including some beautiful somewhat old timey sounding slow blues. The band then ends the show with a really jumpin jump blues that leaves the crowd wanting more!! This CD is so well engineered that it sounds like you are at the show!!

Got to give this a listen. My wife is from Clarksdale. I've been to Ground Zero the last two Juke Joint Festivals and several times before that.
