This W.C. Handy nominated recording was made in 1988 in a small recording studio in New York City during a freezing February snow storm. Acoustic Stories captures R.L. in an honest intimate setting, no overdubs and completely live! The 11-song collection seethes with original rhythms, sinuous vocals and mythic story telling that defines the deep Delta sound.
