Authentic blues with a live feeling! One of the hottest blues bands from the far north, the Alba Blues Band from Hitzacker on the Elbe, writes its own blues stories. With "page one" they present their first CD album with completely original compositions of blues, a pinch of folk and authentic blues rock. The trio around singer/songwriter Johann-Stephan Linke, better known in the scene as "Whitebeard Steve", creates a real blues feeling with the CD. The voice and blues harp of Whitebeard Steve and his "multi-stringed" blues chords on his partly self-made guitars are unmistakable. In combination with Holger Hogelücht and his crisp bass grooves and the driving rhythms of the Sicilian native Santo Sbriglio, the blues trio from Hitzacker on the Elbe sounds like a real blues band from Louisiana or Chicago. Blues feeling from the far north - it's cool man!
