Gonzalo is one of the most important harmonica players in South America. A pioneer of blues harmonica in Chile, he has become a reference for a whole new generation of Chilean harmonica players. He opened for Eric Clapton on two occasions in Chile, in 2001 and 2011, and in Brazil, where he has lived for many years, he has participated in numerous festivals, such as the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival (RS), Floripa Jazz (SC) and the SESC Harmonica Festival (SP).
